Taobao/Tmall Product Reviews Analyzer – Terms of Use

Acceptance of Terms

Installing or using the Chrome extension “Taobao/Tmall Product Reviews Analyzer” (“the Extension”) means you agree to these Terms, the accompanying Privacy Policy, and any notices we provide in-product. If you use the Extension on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” refers to the entity.

License

FutureNow Labs grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Extension for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms. We reserve all other rights.

User Responsibilities

• You must comply with applicable laws and the terms of any platform you interact with (including Taobao, Tmall, and your chosen LLM provider).
• Do not use the Extension to infringe intellectual property rights, violate privacy, or engage in abusive automated behavior.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the Extension’s source code except as permitted by law.
• You are responsible for all data you submit, including ensuring that content you capture is permitted to be processed.

Third-Party Services

• The Extension can route review text to third-party LLM providers you select (e.g., OpenAI, DeepSeek, Google Gemini, or a custom HTTPS endpoint).
• You are solely responsible for configuring and paying for these services, complying with their terms and policies, and safeguarding your API keys.
• We do not control or guarantee the availability or quality of third-party services.

Content and Outputs

• The Extension summarizes public product reviews. Accuracy of summaries, authenticity scoring, and SKU insights depends on source data and the selected LLM.
• You should independently verify any insights before making purchasing decisions or public claims.

Updates

We may update the Extension automatically. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the modified Extension and any updated Terms.

Disclaimer

The Extension is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Your use is at your sole risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FutureNow Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits or data, arising from use of or inability to use the Extension. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Extension in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) USD $50.

Termination

You may stop using the Extension at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms or if continued availability presents risk. Upon termination, you must uninstall the Extension and delete any locally stored data if desired.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The parties agree to attempt amicable resolution before pursuing formal legal remedies.
